Summer Roll Restaurant in Saskatoon

Food was very very bland, and definitely over priced!! Wouldn’t come here agian, but happy we tried it!

So, the only bad thing about this place is that other Chinese or Vietnamese restaurants will never be good again! Summer Roll is the best, freshest and never ever disappointed! BEST cold Rolls and spring rolls I've ever had by far! And price is great too! Please Tina open one on the west end! So I can get it more often hah! Love 💘. Oh! And they make their own iced tea - its a must try!

When they brought out our food the first thought that came to mind is,"you have got to be kidding me". For an Asian restaurant the quantity is way less than what you would expect. The dish that I ordered was 'Shrimp and mixed vegetables on rice ', and it had 5 shrimps in it, with ridiculously little rice, and maybe 3 pieces each of sliced carrots, cauliflower and broccoli, and just one tiny piece of celery . There are many Asian restaurants in town that give you more than double that quantity, for the same price. The taste is not very different from the other restaurants either, so why would you choose to go to a place that gives you way less food. The service was good, but that doesn't make up for the quantity.

Surprise ! Tucked away in Mall beyond Lawson Heights. Very pleasant family welcomed us. Mint green decor attractive. All Dishes tasty and generous. Will return.

Great Pho and Sate beef!

Good flavor of pho and a decent selection of variations. The service is always excellent, and the restaurant is clean and stylish. For those used to pho from Vietnam, you might find it a bit lighter than usual, but still the right flavour and definitely better than the average westernized pho you'll find in Canada. I'd recommend sticking to the Vietnamese items over the Thai items, but it would be difficult to have a bad order either way.

Best spring rolls in town! Quick service and cozy restaurant setting

My buddy introduced me to Summer Roll on a Monday. By Thursday, I was already there a second time. The food was exceptional.This is my new place for Vietnamese.

Oh my goodness gracious! This is my new favourite place. I’ve never been to Disneyland before but if I had, this is what I’d imagine it might be like... but for Vietnamese food. Each dish is a flavourful ride themed after the familiar classics. Oodles of noodles and the spring rolls got me SPRUNG even amidst these cold winter months. Savoury food meant to be enjoyed slowly while shared with a friend. The ginger beef will squash ALL beefs between you and your bestie. Typically I’m a selfish person and I keep the GOOD STUFF secret but Summer Roll Restaurant does not skimp on the shrimp and that’s something to tell your friends about. I can’t wait until the next time I go back!... Someone... anyone.... please take me back10/10 would eat with a stranger maybe even in danger!

The food came in seperate dishes which was cool. We had the #2 A meal for two. Everything was ok but the fried rice tasted burnt. Actually most of the food had a burnt taste. My other half said she kindof liked her food but thought it tasted burnt also. I tend to race her, "Haha beat you again!!!", I would yell in her face. She doesnt batt an eye anymore. I must be getting to her. My plan is working bwahaha. The meal came up to $46.00 with the 10% tip. Ouch, or is it ooch? Tell them Big Ted sent you. Then they'll look at you with a quizical look. That would be priceless...

Still the favorite place for cold rolls and salt and pepper tofu.

Absolutely amazing food. I've hated Vietnamese foot for years. This is the only place I can eat. Its truly amazing. The staff are always very friendly too

Amazing vermicelli bowl, atmosphere is great and service excellent.

Waitress was rude and food was very salty even asking for NO MSG. Then she proceeded to tell me after the fact they use msg in everything they cook after I started eating. Don’t go here if you are sensitive to msg.

Amazing food, amazing owner and amazing workers. I always order take out and its unbelievably quick service. Their Pad Thai is my go to and their satay soups as well. Love, love their spring rolls and cold rolls you can never go wrong there. Also might I add I love how Tina really makes you feel like your family, she adds her own personal touch to this business, its never a dull a moment every time I come in, keep it up :)

Love the food and service

I’ve never had a bad experience at Summer Roll and I’ve been eating here for years. The service is always great and all of the employees are friendly. The food comes out quick and have big portions especially for the price. Their noodle bowls are the best in the city in my opinion. Spring rolls and summer rolls are great appetizers. They also have a vegan menu if you ask for it! They’re also willing to make substitutions on most menu items to make them vegan as well.

I've had both take out and dine in at Summer Roll... The food is Awesome and the service is great whether you're there for a sit down meal or you get take out. 5 stars... I love it... That's why I changed my rating. No they aren't paying me to say this either.... It's Genuine.

Summer Roll is another locally owned restaurant in Saskatoon’s north end. In terms of service and offerings I’d like to give the venue a 5 star review. However, to best suit representation on Google I believe a 4 star rating is the most accurate!Summer Roll is always a great place to visit. The food offerings are authentic, affordable, and full of flavour. I personally enjoy the fact the SummerRoll delivers and always has a daily special offered.This restaurant is comfortable and great for couples, groups, and families with young kids! Something else I’d like to mention is that SummerRoll is associated with another Saskatoon restaurant... That restaurant is Fong’s Kitchen on Faithfull Ave and 51st St!

We were very happy with the order we picked up.

Summer roll is one of my Saskatoon faves and totally worth driving to the north end to get. I love the Tom Yum with wontons I haven't seen this option elsewhere and their wontons are fantastic. We also had the Shanghai noodles and the flavour was sooo good! The spring rolls are great and come with lots of fresh lettuce and ofcourse the cold rolls are beyond good!!! I love that they come with tons of basil too. Always great service and a nice clean, friendly atmosphere.

I now call England home but any time I'm back in Saskatoon for a visit I have to visit Summer Roll. The food is fantastic and the service is always friendly. I love this place!

Great Vietnamese food. With friendly staff and great owner!!

PROS: All three times I've been here, the food and the customer service have been good. I'd actually recommend this restaurant to other Asians. ;) CONS: Parking can be challenging to find sometimes because it shares a parking lot with several other businesses. I was also a little disappointed with the fish sauce included with my vermicelli bowl because I'm used to something more potent. It had a nice flavour though.

Prices are great here. We really enjoyed the service and since it is close to home we come often. Found that they are a bit harsh with the lemon flavours, but the food is delicious and their iced coffee is amazing. Wonderful customer service and hope to be back soon!
